This is a project done in conjunction with OCADU’s Strategic Foresight and Innovation program classes and the Jamaican Canadian Association (JCA) as a capstone project. My team and I explored how the JCA could leverage their resources, both physical and communal, to re-invigorate their programming and membership in the post-pandemic world.

We conducted months of research for this proposal, regularly meeting with JCA administration and leadership to get feedback and provide updates along the way. We proposed three business model shifts, each with different levels of work required. These ranged from a restructuring of the existing membership platform to a community cookbook celebrating their 60th anniversary as an organization.
